Important results from the project

The project concerns the use of regional data from industry analyzes conducted by VINNOVA with the intent to be used as a basis for regional strategy processes. The purpose is primarily to contribute to the development of an effective regional innovation system. The objective is to implement the database in the County administrative board´s toolkit for regional analysis.

Expected long term effects

Deeper insights into the development of the county´s industrial structure, in the first place among the region´s promotion actors. From the intended result, we expect more in-depth analysis and reports, and related seminars and information sessions.

Approach and implementation

1. Technical implementation and initial opportunity analysis 2. Basic information adaption and analysis (within CAB) 3. Information and dialogue with representatives of i.a. the Regional RUS-group (municipalities, county council, etc.) 4. Planning for more detailed analysis operations based on dialogues 5.
