Important results from the project
The project has defined a new hot strip product together with a new all-digital product plattform adapted to hot strip measurement which also provides higher performance and enables new applications on ´cold´ (< 800C) material.
Expected long term effects
A new hot-strip product, based on the new all-digital platform, has been defined. Initial response from potential customers has been very positive. New business opportunities has also developed based on the exceptional frame rate and resolution provided by the new platform.
Approach and implementation
The planed project phases (definition, design, implementation, test etc) has been performed according to the original plan without major changes.
