Project status at end of the project: A. Creating clean air flow: Test results confirm hypothesis, the technology works! Clean air propagation has been studied with the help of smoke , thermal cameras and particle measurements. B. Reduce vibration and noise. New fan design optimized focusing vibration & noise. Frequency analyses basis for action . Noise level is now below 25 dB ( A) in operation mode. C. Implement qualitative user tests. Evaluation of the first round show very good results where all allergy / asthma sufferers demonstrate significant improvement in their symptoms.
Expected long term effects
The goal is that after the next round of field tests develop a product for commercial launch during the first half of 2016. Ongoing dialogue with bed manufacturers and distributors. The goal that after 5 years to sell 20000 PAZ concepts per year remains.
Approach and implementation
Implementation of the planned work has basically gone according to plan and we are very satisfied . One of the things that nevertheless could have been done differently : - We could have had an even more open approach to begin with inviting various partners that contribute with different perspective. - Work to prepare the field tests were underestimated . There has been extensive work in getting to the relevant test group , user-friendly prototype issued and web survey´s performed.
