Purpose and goal

The project has been iteratively developed and verified a needs-based approach that creates better conditions for the growth of the Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises. The project has been designed to reach new businesses and offer a development analysis that identifies needs for development and highlight the opportunities that public funding provides. The project has designed and established a funding and implementation model to the pilot phase, transition to a sustainable and efficient aid effort that complements the existing public instruments and forms of support.

Results and expected effects

The model consists of a basic analysis of the company´s growth power based on theories about business growth. Subsequently, the company worked on with describing and develop their priority business models. This work has resulted in a number of areas for development. These areas have been discussed in a group with other business leaders, the group focused on a company´s challenges at every team meeting. In parallel, the company has an advisor who supported in implementing the change. All companies have received information on the public financing system.

Approach and implementation

Selection of the basic model for implementation. Choice and information to potential companies. Training and certification of consultants around the methods to be used in the project. Start-up and implementation of interventions in companies. Regular reconciliations between the responsible consultants and project managers. Reconciliation / iteration / evaluation on 2 occasions in the project. Development and documentation of learning and best practice. Ongoing diskusisoner the steering committee and reference group on performance, learning and development.
