Purpose and goal

The project´s aim is to develop and test a transferable method for open multi-corporate innovation arenas at science parks. With Med IndX as a test environment, the project will clarify how needs formulation, startup scouting, company preparation, interaction, follow-up and learning can be organized so that collaboration between industrial companies and knowledge-intensive startups becomes more efficient, evaluable and possible to spread.

Expected effects and result

The project will deliver a compact methodology package, a validation and improvement note for IndX, and an implementation note for other innovation supporting actors. The effect will be a more structured way of working to connect knowledge-intensive startups to industry needs, feedback, validation environments, and potential customers, as well as innovation support that is less person-dependent and easier to repeat.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is implemented in four work packages: current situation mapping and eligibility requirements, method development, testing and validation in IndX, and transferability and final deliverables. The work is iterative: previous analysis and IndX practice are translated into a method, tested in selected IndX activities with feedback from partner companies and startups, and reviewed by external innovation supporting actors.
