Venture Strengthening Sweden’s role in international standardization

Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The objective of the project was to develop and test two new services aimed at SIS´ delivering recommendations to an organization about the standards they would benefit from ("Standardkollen") and / or a strategy ("Standardiseringsstrategin") for an organization´s future involvement in standardization. The goal has been met. During the autumn of 2020 and the first month of 2021, SIS carried out two pilot cases of the services with two customers.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Both pilot cases resulted in recommendations for the customers´ increased use of standards and increased involvement in standardization, but it is still too early to evaluate whether the customers follow SIS´ recommendations and to what extent. The pilot also gave SIS the information we wanted and needed to take the next step and package the services into ready-made offers that will become part of SIS´ regular service portfolio.
