Purpose and goal
The project´s goal was to provide an introduction to DCAT to prodived the course participants with skills for publishing metadata as DCAT-AP. This goal has been met by organizing a course and the publication of all course material to ensure optimal dissemination of the project.
Results and expected effects
The project´s learning resources and the half-day course have the potential to make structured descriptions of datasets with DCAT more understandable, which should increase the number of data set at öppnadata.se.
Approach and implementation
Course materials have been developed both for the half-day course in September and for future courses. The course material is licensed as CC BY-SA and may be used by any person or organisation. The material provides an introduction to DCAT and dCAT-AP. In addition to the theoretical background the material focuses on the practical aspects of creating and publishing DCAT-AP metadata.
