Purpose and goal

The goal is to scale up and implement solutions for sustainable transport in dense urban areas with high demands on attractiveness, accessibility and sustainability. The already internationally noted solutions developed in DenCity2 will be scaled up and implemented in longer pilots, prepared for implementation and through this contribute to position Sweden at the forefront of scalable innovative mobility solutions and sustainable urban development.

Expected results and effects

The project will result in: - Initiated implementation of the 5 complementing concepts: mobility broker, full service property, urban consolidation, space-efficient and zero emission transport solutions The project will further contribute to: - Local and regional strategies and objectives - National strategies, such as the National Freight Strategy - Goal 11 in 2030 Agenda (develop solutions that meet changing urban lifestyle, affecting transport patterns and urban planning) - Equality by developing mobility solutions on equal terms for all

Planned approach and implementation

The work is carried out in 3 closely linked WP. This wide and unique approach is required to create positive synergies and avoid suboptimization. Different customer groups and problem owners are involved in pilots and service development. To go from test to broad implementation - a structured learning and dissemination of knowledge, both nationally and internationally, are needed. It is required that several actors are involved in the development of solutions, both those who will implement the solutions, and those who bring the knowledge onwards.
