Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project is a study trip where AI Sweden as a participant wants to get a better picture of the innovation support system in India and find out which organizations/ actors exist that could possibly be suitable partners, and what they work with to support organizations that work with AI.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The trip led to many good contacts, some of which may eventually lead to concrete collaborations. The trip provided a good first introduction to India´s innovation system and an insight into what cooperation opportunities exist. India is an interesting market for AI and AI Sweden are open to gradually expanding the cooperation with actors in that market. We are responsive to expanding collaborations as the needs of our partners demand it. Right now, those needs are greatest in Talent issues.

Approach and implementation

The trip took place in December 2022. During the trip, AI Sweden met actors within the innovation system; incubators, universities, authorities, companies and actors who work with soft landing and matchmaking. Participating Swedish actors were both representatives from the innovation support system (Science parks, incubators, clusters), government representatives and a number of start-up companies. The mix of different types of participating actors with an interest in the Indian market made the trip need-driven and the relevance for AI Sweden´s participation increased.
