Purpose and goal
The project´s aim is to further develop a platform for epigenetic biomarker analysis in liquid biopsies. The goal is to create a more scalable and standardized workflow, broaden the platform´s usability for different types of biological samples, and strengthen the conditions for robust and reproducible use in translational research and biomarker studies.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in more efficient and standardized workflows, verified usability for more sample types, and improved support for quality control and comparability. In the longer term, the results should contribute to increased scalability, easier implementation, and broader use of the platform in research and development projects.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is implemented through three main activities: evaluation and development of more automated laboratory workflows, verification of the platform for additional sample types, and evaluation of quality assurance control materials. The work includes laboratory testing, quality assessment, documentation, and adaptation of workflows for future scaling.
