Purpose and goal
The project will deepen Swedish-British cooperation on CO₂ infrastructure. By combining Pipe58´s knowledge of Swedish and Nordic needs with Progressive Energy´s experience of British CCUS clusters, the project will develop working methods for local and regional collaboration on CO₂. The goal is to develop a joint innovation agenda, roadmap and plan for one or more international projects.
Expected effects and result
The project will result in a joint Swedish-British innovation agenda, new approaches to local and regional CO₂ collaboration, and a roadmap for further development. In the longer term, the work will contribute to more coordinated, cost-efficient and resilient CO₂ infrastructure in Sweden and the Nordic region and lay the foundation for one or more international innovation projects.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be carried out over six months in four work packages. Activities include structuring the collaboration, transferring experience from UK CCUS clusters, analysing Swedish and Nordic conditions, and validating needs with selected stakeholders. The project will conclude with a concept note, roadmap, partner structure and financing strategy for the next phase.
