Important results from the project
The project has met all objectives. A medtech barometer and board-approved indicators and monitoring methodology have strengthened program monitoring. Inclusive innovation and an English Medtech Innovation Guide with AI-support have been launched on the EIC service platform. Med EAMBES has initiated the development of researcher-company matching. Tools and knowledge have been disseminated via Medtech Arena, training courses and LinkedIn forums.
Expected long term effects
Long-term effects include wider use of project results in healthcare, business and education, a faster path from innovation to patient benefit through accessible tools, stronger international competitiveness for Swedish medtech companies, and more inclusive solutions. Systematic follow-up supports better decisions, while sustained collaboration connects healthcare, academia, business and European research.
Approach and implementation
The project was led by Medtech4Health´s program office and organized into four work packages: inclusive innovation, internationalization, Medtech Arena, and impact measurement and results packaging. The work was carried out together with regional partners, nodes, strategic project and external experts (RISE) through feasibility studies, needs analyses, development work and exchange of experience. The program office coordinated the efforts and anchored priorities in the board.
