Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal of the project was to contribute to the establishment of more viable companies in terms of growth in sales and jobs with the help of a sustainable business model. To be able to support the current IBOs through UIC´s incubator program by support in the early development phase, group support in business development and towards a later development phase. To offer the IBOs networks, funding and the knowledge required to develop, scale up or reach an international market and thus accelerate the time to market and reduce risks.
Expected long term effects
The interest in and need for the services that UIC offered through the program, as well as the influx of ideas from academia, business, public sector and individual innovators has been huge. During the period, UIC evaluated 226-254 ideas / year and worked with 84-95 IBO / year *. The project has delivered 2-4 companies / year ** with high growth potential and an international market. Approach and implementation
A stable inflow has been ensured through regular meetings with all actors in the innovation support system. To run UIC´s business development program with high quality and according to defined processes under constant development. Following each individual IBOs development creates a good ability to connect appropriate networks to the companies. That we work hard to make the companies´ progress visible resulted in UIC being able to start the investment company Linnéa Capital, owned by business angels and Saminvest. NPS for all programme and years> 90, which created positive effects.
