Important results from the project
Our aim was to bring forth several consumer-oriented IoT-applications in the area of wellbeing, recreation and entertainment. We have succeeded in our goals in that we have: - created two spin-off companeis: BioSync Technology and WeMeMove AB - we have created a joint IoT-offer where industrial partners and researchers have worked together in several projects - we have created several entirely novel applications that take full advantage of the IoT-technology affordances
Expected long term effects
The applications we have created serve as good examples for the consumer-facing IoT-product area. At the same time, the partners have got together and shaped an eco-system for this whole area.
Approach and implementation
The project has efficiently brought forth more results than expected. We have worked in fast, agile, development cycles together. Two of the products have been commercialized in spin-off companies. Others have ended up with partners outside the consortium. The design methods we created have extended on our repertoire for how to design and develop IoT-apps.
