Purpose and goal
The goal with coordinating-project is to develop a common application to a final coordination-project that will be performed within Bioinnovation Construction & Design. The overall purpose of a coordinating-project is to support the individual subprojects granted in BioInnovation Construction and Design in different ways to find common synergies between the sub-projects, but also coordination, information dissemination, administration and contract issues.
Expected results and effects
The work began in late December 2016 and ended with submission of the application to Vinnova on May 2. The application resulted in the project IPOS Swedish wood - Innovation potential for the bio-based society”. Of the seven subprojects that were included from the beginning, four were granted and include in IPOS. The subprojects are; DP 1. Design, Product Development & Communication, DP 2. Demandcontrolled refinement of Swedish timber, DP 3. The Facade of the city Swift, stylish, smart, DP 4. Outdoor load-bearing timber structures. The projects will last from 2017 to autumn 2020.
Planned approach and implementation
Participants from all 7 subprojects have been invited to steering group meetings and the number of people varied according to content. More than 12 meetings have been conducted and they have been both physical and via Skype or telephone. In addition, there have been meetings within BioInnovation. During the process, joint development activities have been identified; Clarify the roles of the various subprojects; Plan how these can be carried out and plan with other project leaders what to deliver from the strategic project as a whole
