Purpose and goal

In order to reach the overall goal for the ticket and payment project: to link the actors systems and facilitate partnerships to make it easier for customers to choose public transport, whether you are traveling locally, regionally or nationally. This phase of the project has now developed a standard for mobile tickets and identified a method to sell each other´s tickets.

Results and expected effects

As a result of the work within the project, several of the operators will now initiate pilots for a smooth validation of mobile tickets. When the pilots are completed and the standard is updated there are good possibilities for ticket collaborations and to create attractive services for passengers. For those stakeholders who wish, there is now a requirement specification for procurement of card readers on buses available.

Approach and implementation

Thanks to ongoing anchoring and discussions with stakeholders the project has successfully worked with development of the deliveries. Meeting Round 3 has been completed, consisting of: Market Group Meeting, Malmö Technology Group Meeting, Stockholm Ongoing supplier meetings. 2 Operational steering group meetings A national workshop Steering group meeting Before the steering committee accepted the deliverance, the documentation was sent for consultation among the stakeholders and suppliers.
