Important results from the project
Projektet CoMiMo – Connected Micro Mobility – has developed and tested an integrated system solution for electrified and connected micromobility in urban areas. By deploying 60 electric mopeds, the project has demonstrated how digital infrastructure, vehicle technology and business models can work together to remove key obstacles in last mile logistics. By 2025, 80 mopeds will be in operation, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the near urban environment by 221,867 kg CO2 per year.
Expected long term effects
A reduction in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases and reduced noise in urban environments.
A transfer from 2-stroke vehicles to all-wheel drive vehicles for distribution to end customers in urban areas - last-mile logistics
Approach and implementation
Projektet CoMiMo has developed and tested an integrated system solution for electrified and connected micromobility in urban environments. The system solution enables automatic user verification, geofencing-based parking, remote monitoring and efficient energy management, which together increases transport efficiency, reduces climate impact and improves working conditions for drivers.
