Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Purpose and goal

The ColorSusTex planning grant aims to prepare a well-developed proposal to the call for proposals SSbD bio-based solutions to replace hazardous conventional chemicals for textiles production: HORIZON-JU-CBE-2025-IA-02. The aim of the planning grant is to 1) allocate resources to be able to answer all eligibility requirements in the call text and particular the criteria for ex-ante LCA and the use of biobased raw materials, 2) build a strong impact section, and 3) write a competitive proposal.

Expected effects and result

ColorSusTex is expected to deliver a competitive and robust EU proposal to scale up five innovations in dyeing and printing processes to replace hazardous chemicals with bio-based, safe and sustainable alternatives. We will have conducted ex-ante LCA on all innovations to ensure they are sustainable, well-researched business plans for the demonstrators and a well-crafted and written proposal.

Planned approach and implementation

The planning grant is divided into clear work packages (see proposal) with defined objectives, workshops, ex-ante life cycle analyses and active involvement of the industrial partners. Through close collaboration, workshops, interviews and ongoing feedback (looping), we collect data and information for the ex-ante analysis, ensure that we meet all eligibility requirements primarily on the feedstock from partners in the consortium for proposal and feedback from external reviewers on the text.
