Important results from the project
Sweden´s National Coordination Centre for Research and Innovation in Cybersecurity at MSB funded 37 projects in cybersecurity with a total value of about 21 million SEK. The call was funded by MSB, Vinnova, and the EU´s Digital Europe program (DIGITAL) and targeted SMEs that want to strengthen Sweden´s capacity in cybersecurity. The call had over 180 applicants, and MSB is very pleased with the high application rate and the results.
Expected long term effects
The implementation of the projects has contributed to strengthening Sweden´s and the EU´s independence, capability development and competitiveness in cybersecurity.
Approach and implementation
The call oped in September 2024 and had a budget of SEK 23 million, maximum grant per funded project SEK 600 000. Applicants were offered full cost coverage. The call was aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sweden. NCC-SE funded 37 projects within the framework. The project period was three months with start in December 2024. After projectcompletion, the projects wrote a final report.
