Purpose and goal

The first CAI reserach conference on co-creation between academia and industry aimed to elucidate the benefits and obstacales in research collaboration between academia and industry. Areas for the conference were: Benefit of co-creation from different stakeholders perspective, open innovation and knowledge transfer, research methodolgy for co-creation and co-creation in the future.

Results and expected effects

CAI´15 took place at Mälardalen University during two days where academic and industrial perspectives on co-creation were elucidated that contributed to deepen the discussion concerning the meaning of co-creation. The conference had invited keynote speakers as well as paper presentations. The keynote lectures and the paper presentation were followed up by intense discussions. The coffee breaks, the lunches and conference dinner gave additional opportunities for discussions.
