Important results from the project
CLOSER´s objective is to contribute to new solutions that support the sustainable society of the future. The collaboration focuses on new innovations that support increased transport efficiency in society and is aimed at all actors that touch or influence the future design of the freight transport system. CLOSER has during the period 2019-2023 been clearly established as the national node for acquiring and sharing knowledge and experience and for seek joint collaborations based on common challenges.
Expected long term effects
CLOSER creates three distinct effects for its partners and stakeholders. 1. Network effect through the possibility, via a network of actors, to more easily identify the right individual or relevant knowledge. This as support for meeting your own organisation´s challenges. 2. Resource effect by, together with other organizations, identifying similar challenges and thereby jointly contributing to collaborating on issues. 3. Impact effect created through collaboration and the results created in joint project
Approach and implementation
CLOSER has been driven during the period by a great flexibility in the working methods and formats required to maintain and develop the program in a changing world and during stressful periods of pandemic. Lessons learned during the pandemic have survived and, not least, have meant that geographical distance is no longer a problem for creating a national sense of belonging to the program. New work formats that are continuously developed and coordinated with partners and stakeholders to ensure that CLOSER delivers the expected value set from its actors.
