Important results from the project
The aims and goals were for Climate Curtains to verify prototype and market. The prototype testing was conducted at Statens Provningsanstalt with three different tests. The three test were conducted during the project and the results exceeded the expectations. The company has obtained valuable information and knowledge to proceed to develop the second version which will be tested live with local real estate owners.
Expected long term effects
The results exceeded the expectations in regards to insulation. They were adequate for the solar heat absorbtion. Finally the for sound insulation showed the product does not have a good sound protection. The tests confirm that Climate Curtains has a very high insulation abilities.
Approach and implementation
The technical tests were conducted at Statens Provningsanstalt. In total there were three tests; insulation, heat absobtion and sound protection. The three tests could adequately determine the hypothesis and questions that were posed in the beginning of the project. The result have laid a foundation for the development for the next generation of Climate Curtains which is in progress.
