Important results from the project
The project has reduced the climate impact of the construction sector through collaboration and competence building in Sweden´s first Lokala Fardplan for a climate-neutral construction sector in Malmö 2030, LFM301. The project has developed: - A generally accepted LCA method that describes the climate impact of construction projects. - Industry-wide collaboration models, business models and sustainable financing solutions. - An internal / external communication and competence platform
Expected long term effects
The project´s results gives effects such as: climate-neutral construction and civil engineering sector in Malmö until 2030. spreadable model for local climate initiatives. Sweden is seen as a pioneering country through test bed Malmö areas are developed that contribute to resource efficiency and significant communityX000. focus is placed on the necessary change of instruments, policies and behavioral changes. contribute with knowledge that can be utilized in new methods, processes, services, and products.
Approach and implementation
The project has been implemented through literature studies, research/ development, working meeting, workshops, knowledge building, practical implementation and communication and dissemination within LFM30, its 7 working groups and among its 170 actors. The implementation has led to deep collaboration and knowledge building between cutting-edge research and commercial / public actors within the framework of test bed Malmö.
