Important results from the project

We created micro-experiences of futures exploring re-alignment of incentives to reverse climate change in ways that democratizes & distributes power & resources. The project invited the public to Physical Installations of Climate Refugee Camps, a Virtual Decentralized Governmental App and a series of Simulations that resulted in micro documentaries, a CliFi Film, landing pages and set of Climate Action Tools. Collectively, stimulating a sense of urgency, opportunity and empowerment

Expected long term effects

Make conceivable futures concrete by; * 4 Transdisiplinary Think Tanks * Digital campaign * 6 pop-up Immersive Experiences (2 large, 4 small) * Regeringskansliet presentation * +10 “time capsules” * Documentary Mini-series * A Decentralized Governmental App (incl Citizen Stake Stock Market), showing realignment of incentives * 2 Student Research Projects, exploring DAOs and UBI as vehicles to re-align incentives * 1 CliFi short film: showing a day in the life of Swedish Climate Refugees

Approach and implementation

The project evolved through a planned series of Think Tanks, Physical Installations, Immersive Simulations, an App, Video Documentaries, a Digital Campaign, and a CliFi Film. Based in the MAD Method of: Challenge-Driven, Mission-Led and Crowd-Sourced; I.e. departing from pressing democratic and climatic Challenges, shaping Missions of regenerative futures based on weak signals from international sources, and Crowdsourced ideation and development of the future prototype elements.
