Call Planning grant for international proposal 2024

Purpose and goal

With support from a Vinnova grant, RISE PROCESSUM AB will coordinate the CIRC-TOUR proposal for the EIC Pathfinder Open call (deadline: May 21, 2025). This grant enables us to assemble a strong international consortium, covering key roles to ensure success. Our proposal aims to transform plastic waste management in regions with limited or damaged recycling systems, using modular thermochemical technologies to prevent microplastic formation

Expected effects and result

CIRC-TOUR aims to complement mechanical recycling by targeting hard-to-recycle plastics and enabling alternatives where no solutions exist. The project focuses on reducing plastic pollution, particularly microplastics, while fostering sustainable growth through secondary raw materials markets. By empowering communities and promoting upcycling, CIRC-TOUR paves the way for scalable, sustainable global waste management.

Planned approach and implementation

Three main activities planned to ensure a winning proposal: 1.Consortium Strengthening: Collaborate with potential international partners to fill critical roles 2.Result Exploitation: Organize workshops to identify commercial opportunities and early impact pathways for future EIC proposals. 3.Proposal Development: Allocate budgets, draft, and submit a high-quality proposal, ensuring thorough preparation for the highly competitive EIC Pathfinder Open call.
