Status Ongoing
Venture Safe automated driving – FFI
Call Traffic-safe automation - FFI - spring 2026

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to explore how an interference-robust radar architecture can be brought closer to practical use in automotive radar. The objective is to develop requirements, a target architecture and a basis for further development towards chip or platform integration.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to provide a technical and industrial decision basis for the next development step. In the long term, the results may contribute to more robust radar-based perception in ADAS and automated vehicles, especially in traffic environments with many simultaneous radar sensors.

Planned approach and implementation

The feasibility study is carried out by Radar Reticence AB and Halmstad University. The work includes requirements analysis, target architecture, verification of integration-critical functions and dialogue with relevant industrial actors ahead of a possible full-scale FFI project.
