Important results from the project
The goal of the project has been to contribute to the creation and development of knowledge-based growth companies. During the project, approximately 130 projects and 56 companies have been started and received business support. Most companies continue to grow after completing the programme and some have begun to establish themselves internationally. All companies have a strong level of innovation, the majority have their origins in research, and a have strong sustainability profile.
Expected long term effects
A large majority of the incubator companies have a positive development both during and after the programme. The long-term effects of the companies´ continued growth will be seen in jobs, tax revenues and renewal of the Swedish business community. Given the companies´ sustainability focus, a long-term effect can be the introduction of sustainable products and services on the market. Our continued focus on deeptech also contributes to the Swedish universities´ utilisation of research results.
Approach and implementation
The project has been progressing according to plan. While that certain fine-tuning has been made to streamline our work, we cannot report major deviations from the initial focus.
