Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the project has been to contribute to the creation of knowledge-based growth companies with good internationalization opportunities. During the project, 70 companies received support via Chalmers Ventures. With a few exceptions, the companies have developed well during the project and increased in size, both in terms of sales and number of employees. Several have also reached an international market despite their relatively early phase.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** A large majority of the companies have had a positive development both during and after the implementation of the programme together with Chalmers Ventures. The long-term effects of the companies´ continued growth will be seen in terms of jobs, tax revenues and renewal of the Swedish business community. Given the number of research-based companies that have participated in the Chalmers Ventures programme, it also contributes to the Swedish higher education institutions´ utilization of research results.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Chalmers Ventures has provided qualified business coaching and other related services to 70 start-ups (younger than 5 years). The coaching has taken place within 5 different programme adapted to the companies´ degree of maturity and needs. Chalmers Ventures has also acted as a “match-maker” between innovators / researchers and entrepreneurs in a successful way, which has resulted in several new companies being created in this way.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
