Purpose and goal
The aim of this project is to support small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in their efforts to meet the stringent quality and safety requirements of the aerospace industry, specifically AS9100 and Nadcap certifications.
Firstly, CertiFly aims to increase the number of small and medium-sized companies achieving AS9100 and Nadcap certifications. Secondly, the project aims to improve quality control and production processes within the participating companies.
Expected effects and result
CertiFly is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish small and medium-sized manufacturing companies through support in achieving AS9100 and Nadcap certifications. Through training, workshops and guidance, understanding of requirements, processes and risk management is created. The result will be more certified companies, increased innovation and a strengthened position in the global aviation market, which contributes to long-term sustainability and resilience.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is implemented in work packages: project management, preparation and planning, workshops and certification process and follow-up. First, requirements and interest among companies are mapped, then training and materials are developed. Workshops and seminars provide knowledge about AS9100 and Nadcap. Finally, the certification process is followed up and participating SMEs receive support, including the opportunity for a study visit to an international NADCAP conference.
