Purpose and goal
The aim of this project is to deliver a specification and implementation strategy for a world-leading start-up incubator where start-ups, from the life science sector, will have access to industry expertise, capital, EIT Health support, and physical facilities. We wish to provide a platform for increasing the success and impact from the Swedish start-up eco-system which will further contribute to elevating Sweden as a leading life science nation.
Expected effects and result
Gathering of data from existing activities and identification of needs and gaps followed by an analysis of this data that clearly demonstrates the requirements and solutions that will be offered, how they are to be delivered, the infrastructure and the operational components of delivering success from the platform. Detailed and actionable report as well as a full Vinnova application, as relevant, seeking investment support to drive establishment of the incubator in collaboration with partners.
Planned approach and implementation
WP1: Determine key challenges facing start-ups in the Swedish Life Science Ecosystem. WP2: Solutions finding to deliver a proposition that will drive success by identifying trends, patterns, and critical success factors for start-up growth and translate this in to a broad range of offerings to the start-up space. WP3: A comprehensive report containing actionable recommendations, including a detailed description of the establishment and operational running of the incubator.
