CE Check - Disrupting the certification industry

Purpose and goal
CE Check worked daily on business model and validation, and had workshops within different areas such as sales, prioritisation, business development, and team. CE Check had meetings with mentors where we worked on concrete problems and thoughts. We met many different parties from different industries where we had the chance to discuss their view on our business idea and offer, and view on CE marking and the EU market. We also had the opportunity to come in contact with large enterprises. After the programme´s end we have a clear path forward, short and long term, which we´re working towards.
Expected results and effects
We identified customer segment where we more easily can have a product market fit soon. We also identified a long term strategy towards enterprises. We evaluated the American market and found a interest for selling to the EU. We met many potential partners and customers. Some partnerships were signed immidiately while some are still pending. We also met multiple investors and definitely challenged our way of thinking. Now the journey has started to change our value proposition and our long term strategy.
Planned approach and implementation
We see that we worked more than expected on business model and strategy as it took a lot of analysis of customer segments and problems, and meetings with external parties. But in the end of the programme focus shifted towards meetings with potential partners, customers, and investors. We also saw that there were a lot of interesting events outside of the TINC programme, such as Startup World Cup and the Swedish/American chamber of commerce data event, which we went to. We also see that meetings could´ve been booked earlier as it can be hard to fit in everything the more towards the end you come.
