Funding from Vinnova SEK 172 544 926
Project duration October 2025 - December 2028
Status Ongoing

Purpose and goal

This project aims to continue the establishment of CCRM Nordic as a national infrastructure for the commercialization of advanced therapies. The goal of this project is to generate new knowledge about manufacturing flows, development and equipment of advanced therapies together with our partners to lay the foundation for future solutions. This knowledge will in the next step be used to develop new manufacturing methods

Expected effects and result

The knowledge generated within the project is expected to contribute to the market approval of Swedish and Nordic-developed ATMP products with scalable and cost-effective manufacturing processes. This will benefit both the availability of these products to patients on the global market and the competitiveness of the developers. The effect of this is expected to be increased investments which creates jobs both in development and manufacturing as well as in healthcare.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is being implemented in collaboration between CCRM Nordic and 8 companies as well as GU Ventures. The parties contribute with complementary EFT units, areas and competencies, which all contribute to ensuring the results. The consortium will follow set work packages but also be flexible in order to follow the rapid technological development. The work will be based on an inclusive approach and collaboration that creates synergies with other initiatives and structures in the area.
