Purpose and goal
The purpose of CancerResist is to deepen and formalise the collaboration between Beactica Therapeutics and MD Anderson around P65-047 for KRAS inhibitor-resistant NSCLC. The goal is to establish the scientific, legal and strategic foundations for a full-scale preclinical programme and continued joint international development.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to deliver a feasibility study, IP and data-sharing frameworks, a joint international funding roadmap, a signed MoU and a strategic roadmap. These results will enable the next preclinical step, strengthen the basis for joint EU/US funding applications and establish a foundation for long-term Swedish-US collaboration in precision oncology.
Planned approach and implementation
The six-month project comprises four work packages: feasibility and risk analysis; IP analysis, MTA and data sharing; mapping of EU and US funding; and partnership formalisation. Beactica leads the work with input from MD Anderson. Activities include joint analyses, virtual workshops and a site visit to Houston, concluding with a signed Memorandum of Understanding and strategic roadmap.
