Project duration April 2019 - December 2021
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The project aimed to develop the CRM-system of the future, based on Gamification. By using graphics and triggers from the gaming world, we wanted organizations to work effectively with their customers, create better customer relationships and thereby increase their sales. The goal was to develop a foundation for gamification that in the long run could be used for almost all systems. In the project, the purpose was to develop a prototype, implement a pilot and conduct a markets research analysis.

Expected results and effects

The result is gamification which is integrated in our existing CRM-solution. The game engine is fully developed, and front end is soon to be completed. The solution will be ready to launch in the beginning of next year. The theme in the game is “Savet the planet” with the expected effect of increasing awareness, knowledge and interest of our customers for this issue while it is basically a game to trigger the use of the CRM-system. We as a company is strengthen by the fact that we are an innovative product company.

Planned approach and implementation

The project was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic, which itself affected our company greatly and thus the focus of the project. The idea is the same for the gamification, but the company’s growth plans have been adjusted, and this affected the plans for internationalization and the possibility for reaching new customer groups. Thanks to an external supplier, we had access to academic research and a shortcut to the development of the game’s platform.
