Purpose and goal

The aim of the project was to verify whether it is possible to work out a sensor solution and service that has the potential to create a substantial energy efficiency. The project has clearly shown that this is the case . A prototype is designed and produced in 3D printer . Analysis of energy -efficiency potential has been conducted by an external consultant. IPR values seems to be feasible.

Results and expected effects

The prototype was possible to design and produce . Clear potential for energy efficiency evaluated and identified.

Approach and implementation

Initially, the approach was to use a research institute to investigate communication systems and potential of energy efficiency. Efficiency improvement potential was analyzed. The market and communication systems has been separated for later evaluation. The prototype has been made to be modular and expandable to maximize the possibilities to adapt the sensor to various target systems.
