Purpose and goal
The goal during the innovation phase of Byggcert was to secure interest and participation in the coming planning process by a scientist and a major educator or trade organization, as well as getting initial input on the project idea from them. Byggcert has succeeded to secure such participation from one established construction scientist as well as a major educational organization. Furthermore the project has got a clear interest from two major trade organizations, and they also provided valuable input for the project.
Results and expected effects
Byggcert cuts through several functions and areas in the construction industry and is therefore dependent on cooperation with several structures. Through meetings and discussions with industry representatives the project has become established and more defined for the coming planning process. Secured participation from leading industry players was crucial for the projects future success and for the coming planning process. In this way involved partners have got the right conditions to develop and launch Byggcert´s infrastructure, functions and mobile IT-solutions.
Approach and implementation
Extensive cooperation between key players in the industry is necessary in order to realize this project. Therefore it was crucial to establish Byggcert among leading educators as well as trade organizations already at an early stage. Initial activities therefore included contacting, meeting and discussing the project with such players, and getting input from them on the project. This approach succeeded and is a confirmation on that the project choose the right approach during its first stage.
