Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The aim of the project/preliminary study has been to describe in depth the functionality and business case linked to the development of a national municipal analysis platform. During the implementation of the preliminary study, future development funds for the platform were secured when Uppsala University, together with partners, was granted SEK 60 million from the Foundation for Strategic research for the creation of a national competence center Obesitas.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Through the secured future funding via, among others, the Foundation for Strategic research we have good hope that the platform will be developed, implemented within the municipal world and thereby create conditions for fact-based decision-making and a correct follow-up.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Much focus has been placed during the preliminary study on anchoring and related activities, despite this focus we have not managed to achieve a commitment from 20 municipalities, which was the hope. The lessons learned from the work are, above all, the long lead times that anchoring work in the public sector requires and the difficulty, despite a good business case, of getting a collective commitment to the issue.
