Important results from the project

The project has created the initial conditions for cooperation through the workshop that was held in September. During the day we identified three companies and its overall needs, and an explicit method development group which will have the task of helping the companies to articulate their needs and requirements. Discussions during the day was about both the companies and the innovators perspectiv. We have therefore, already at this initial stage, created forms of collaboration. During the planning grant, we have developed an application for the project grant.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected (in a long-term) to contribute to shortened processes for innovators and entrepreneurs regarding the commercialization time. The planning-contribution have created better conditions to achieve this result in the second phase (project grant). We have initial succeeded in developing a strategy through meetings with the companies with needs. The meetings gave a transparent dialogue in with different sectors think about the challenge of how to implement the winnings entries in their daily operations. An application to the project gran has been developed.

Approach and implementation

A consultant was hired with the task of developing a model in which companies easier can demand their needs and a hypothesis on why innovations have difficulties to be commercialized. With the intention of establishing a basis for future discussions during the workshop, the material was sent to companies. This was followed by individual follow-ups in which they gave their preferences for implementation. The result is a plan of how the project can now move forward with the owners Skanska, Magic Dental and E-Car and finally, SP, as part of method development group and judgement panel
