Project duration September 2014 - October 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The goal of the project was to identify existing needs and challenges in the field, and to build a good actor constellation before an application for a project grant and an upcoming innovation competition. The project has both managed to go through and develop the concept of how the identified needs can be met in practice, as well as identified and discussed with an excellent actor constellation for an upcoming project application.

Results and expected effects

Compared with the situation before this project, we now see that there are many nearby needs to match environmental data from sensors with people´s own personal data about where you are and how your body is doing. To succeed in the outcome of the innovation competition, and make sure that the proposed solution will be used and spread successfully, it is important to solve the needs identified in the original idea, but also to add a dimension that allows so that the visualization and utilization of data can be used in many more areas and geographic locations.

Approach and implementation

The project was carried out through both discussions with potential partners in Sweden and the United States (including a trip to San Francisco and Silicon Valley, with discussions with partners who are meant to participate in the competition) as well as work to develop an application for project funding for the innovation competition ´Breathing Space´ within the framework of the ´Innovationstävlingar 2014´.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
