BioComposites - Coordination

Reference number
Coordinator INNVENTIA AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 100 000
Project duration December 2016 - June 2017
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The coordination pre-study ensured that all the project leaders for the BioComposites projects agreed on why it is important to work together on broader issues and not just in independent projects. Defining those activities that the coordination project should include to deliver value and benefits was also central. Five activities that address common needs were identified and defined. In addition to coordination, activities focus on circularity, social value, strategic learning, and communication.

Expected results and effects

BioInnovation’s new innovation project within the area of Materials, BioComposites, will in an efficient and productive way deliver value for all stakeholders involved within biocomposites.

Planned approach and implementation

3 coordination meetings took place with project leaders for the 7 granted pre-studies within BioComposites. Agreements, status for the sub-projects, BioComposites coordination, coordination activities and their value, budgets, and information from BioInnovation and Vinnova were discussed. BioComposites projects will each have their own agreement and all project leaders will be part of the BioComposites Coordination Board. Of 5 submitted project proposals 4 were granted: paper-based bottles, personalized products and services, transport, and active meeting places.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
