Important results from the project

Yes, the goals we set from the start were fulfilled. We successfully developed a project structure, established a consortium, and submitted two Horizon applications to the EU. Additionally, the project strengthened collaboration between Swedish and German actors, which was a key objective. Other important outcomes: The project also led to new international partnerships, including with French organizations, and laid the foundation for continued cooperation in the research field.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to contribute to a stronger and more established collaboration between Swedish and European actors in the research area. Through the submitted Horizon applications and the formed consortium, the conditions are created for future joint projects, knowledge exchange and innovation-driven solutions. The project has also laid the foundation for increased international visibility and strategic positioning within relevant research programs.

Approach and implementation

The project began by developing a common project structure and identifying relevant actors for a future consortium. Workshops and meetings were then held to establish collaborations between Swedish, German and French partners. The work resulted in two Horizon applications to the EU, where the consortium was formalized and the project ideas were concretized. The implementation was based on close dialogue, joint planning and continuous coordination between participating organizations.
