Coordinator Belogic AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 100 000
Project duration April 2019 - June 2019
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

A strategic IP roadmap has been developed with a focus on directly applicable advice to improve the IP value and IP-supported commercial opportunities, both in the short and long term, with a focus on patents, brands, domain names, design protection and agreements with relevant stakeholders in the business ecosystem. There is a clear strategy on how we in the future will work to best protect our business, products and know-how. The project has given us a clear strategy and knowledge about how we should work ahead with our IP portfolio.

Expected results and effects

The result after the completed project is that we have identified that agreements with external developers / suppliers must contain clear clauses stating that all IP assets will be owned by Belogic. The project has revealed that there is current patenting activity in areas that are relevant to Belogic. Belogic should subscribe to a monitoring service for periodic inspection of relevant patent applications.

Planned approach and implementation

Within the framework of the project, Belogic and AWA Sweden AB have developed a plan for how IP should be managed within the company and make it a natural part of the business plan in the future. Through the IP strategy project, Belogic has acquired an IP awareness at management level, which is a good basis for further development of the leading aspects in connection with IP in the company and the decisions that lie ahead. Furthermore, Belogic will ensure that all relevant IP aspects are fully integrated into future business plans.
