Purpose and goal
Significant steps towards the goal of being Europe´s leading automation cluster in 2026 have been taken. The three milestones: (1) building up the organisation and activities for the implementation of the Strategy, (2) Ensuring the System integrator role by building both the regional and national ecosystems and 3) identification of operational objectives based The societal challenges of Agenda 2030 have been integrated into an action plan to bridge the gap in the S-curve that describes the paradigm shift in the transition to the digital industrial Society of the future.
Expected results and effects
Cooperation with other development actors has been strengthened considerably. Partnership agreements have been concluded with Synerleap, Create, other Winnväxt initiatives, the region´s actors, national actors such as RISE and SISP. Expo, Summit, breakfast meetings, Do-tanks, DigiCore have been further extended and attract an increasing number of members. Company visits have been expanded, needs analysis. New international collaborations, expected system results in new collaborations within the innovation system which provide new inputs for companies.

The initiative has created an organisational structure that connects competences from different actors in a sustainable way.
