Important results from the project

Yes. The project goal was to define and develop a new proposal for Excellence Cluster-initiativet. Within the project we have had many meetings; we have also coordinated with another Vinnova-project, Field Robotics. We are convinced that we will have a world-leading robotic cluster, Robotics Institute of Sweden.

Expected long term effects

Within the project we have had many meetings; we have also coordinated with another Vinnova-project, Field Robotics. It will be of great importance: Robotics Institute of Sweden will become much stronger on the international stage due to the many synergy effects between automation and field robotics.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented as a planning and mobilization phase with the aim of establishing the foundation for a national cluster of excellence in AI-driven robotics. The approach was based on bringing together key actors from academia, industry and the innovation system, and developing a shared vision, structure and concrete implementation plan for a future effort. The activities proved to be relevant and appropriate.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
