Important results from the project
The purpose of the VINNOVA project was to take a further step towards a functional prototype as well as stronger IP-protection in order to take further steps towards finalized product development as well as attracting financial capital to the company.
Expected long term effects
The company has today a functional prototype as well as three additional applied patents, with EU and US coverage. These patents build upon the concepts that have been developed during this time. The company is very satisfied with the work so far and expect many positive outcomes due to this.
Approach and implementation
Arterica has worked with five consultants, with extensive knowledge, from technicians to senior mechanical engineering skills. The work has been closely supervised by the Arterica team to ensure the development process as well as giving constant feedback during the development work. This has resulted in three patent applications, building upon the prototype concept. This has put the company in a very good position for further product development work as well as additional patents.
