Important results from the project
The aim for Fotonic in the project was to participate in the development of a framework for connecting different sensors and systems. More specific to develop and test how a service oriented architecture could be used for interaction with the 3D cameras.
Expected long term effects
The project has developed a technical framework in order to connect different devices and Fotonic has contributed with open source code. Within the project Fotonic has also been able to improve the 3D cameras and after the project there is now full focus on productifying the solutions and launch a new 3D camera.
Approach and implementation
This huge project with an ambitious goal has been well structured with gap analysis, workshops and demonstrations. For Fotonic as a small and young company it was difficult to contribute in some of the initial activities but as the company has grown it became easier to contribute with code and demonstrations.
