Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal of identifying R&D needs within paper-based textiles has been well achieved and the goal of creating a collection of actors who can drive the field and develop a value chain has also been achieved. Discussions are now underway on how to work together to further develop previous efforts.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The study shows a number of specific textile applications that could be suitable for paper-based textiles. In addition, it points out R&D areas that need strong development in order for any paper-based textile to be produced industrially.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Information gathering took place through surveys and interviews with selected people in industry, academia, institutes and authorities. Then they worked in round-table discussions with invited initiated persons and discussed results from survey responses. Finally, how the work can be carried on after the end of project was discussed in a closing seminar. The arrangement gave both great visibility in the outside world and great commitment in the group working closely with the project.
