Important results from the project
The goals we set from the start have been met, even though they were delayed (pandemic) and then finally fulfilled. In addition, the business has led to increased visibility and attraction to becoming an entrepreneur and also a business angel locally and regionally.
Expected long term effects
The project has led to a broader and richer business community in northern Sweden and we have rejuvenated and made the business angel role more equal than it was before. We have also been able to develop and deepen national collaborations with other organizations similar to our own both in venture capital/funding and also in the space sector to name the areas that stand out.
Approach and implementation
Early in the project, the Covid pandemic occurred, which put all plans on hold and resulted in a focus on managing existing companies and supporting them in a tough situation. In parallel, we switched to working completely digitally. As the pandemic subsided, a recovery phase began with the resumption of physical contacts and an increased influx of ideas to work with. It was not until 2024 that we were back to some form of normality for how we had planned to work at the start.
