Important results from the project

The purpose of the planning grant was to, together with Minerva, achieve a competitive application for the Eurostar 3 grant to support our goal to develop and test a production prototype to validate the product´s functions and validate the circular business model. Our main goals for the project were to achieve a competitive application and strengthen the cooperation between Cocoon and the co-applicant companies. Both these goals have been successfully achieved.

Expected long term effects

The application was successfully submitted and we are still waiting for results but we got an initial feedback from the german grant administration that the application was competitive. Apart from hopefully be awarded the grant, we have deepened the cooperation between the companies so we expect positive future effects such as joint R&D projects.

Approach and implementation

We worked together with Gaeu Consulting who lead the process, helped writing and successfully submitting the grant application. The assignment of GAEU was to help Cocoon with their long expertise to write a competitive application for the Eurostar grant which was fulfilled. The team represented a powerful blend of skills in business, venture investments, science, and finance. The communication and teamwork was a success and helped us deepen the cooperation between all the involved companies.
