Important results from the project
The project delivered the planned results, in particular a proposal to the EIC accelerator has been developed and submitted, thus achieving the following results specified in the planning grant proposal:
- Development of all parts of the proposal, administrative part (Part A), project description (Part B) and annexes (including FreedomToOperate and ProductCarbonFootprint)
- Presentation of Biosorbe, meetings and dialogue with potential investors, strategic partners and potential customers
Expected long term effects
The EIC accelerator would give Biosorbe the opportunity to demonstrate the applications of water purification and air purification with a bio-based filter media that can replace fossil materials and thereby reduce CO2 emissions, the risk of spreading microplastics, etc. The production of Biosorbe´s cellulose-based absorbent can increase rapidly and thereby contribute to jobs and income for Sweden in addition to the reduction of CO2 emissions described above.
Approach and implementation
The project implementation began with the start of two external parts:
- Freedom To Operate-analys was carried out by IP consultant
- Product Carbon Footprint was developed by consultant
In parallel, internal and external work
- Development of all parts of the proposal, administrative part (A-part), project description (B-part) and appendices
- Presentation of Biosorbe, meetings and dialogue with potential investors, strategic partners, and with potential customers. LoI-agreements.
